If an approval request has already been sent to the incorrect approver this cannot be redirected, with the exception of new employment approvals, which can be redirected.
If the approvers on a post are changed after the approval request has been sent out, this will not affect the notification that has already been sent.
Pay claims and leave
When an approval request for a claim or leave has been sent to the incorrect person:
The incorrect approver needs to reject the claim/leave.
The correct approver needs to be set up on the post.
Once this has been done, the original claim/leave needs to be deleted and a new one needs to be submitted. This will now go to the correct approver.
