Once a leave request has been added and submitted by an employee through Self Service they will no longer be able to edit or cancel it.

At this point, the leave request has been sent for approval to their line manager or designated leave approver.

If the leave needs to be cancel, the approver will need to reject it from their end.

Below are the steps the approver needs to follow:

  1. Log in and click the Notifications icon in the top right corner (triangle icon).

  2. Look for the employee's leave request and click it.

  3. Click the Reject button.

  4. Enter a reason in the Rejection Reason text box and click Submit.

At this point, the employee will be able to view the rejected leave in their Self Service menu, under My Leave. It can no longer be edited or deleted, but this will not export to Payroll as it's been rejected.
