Cancel a training request

This article provides guidance on the correct procedure for cancelling a booked training.

Employees can book training from Self Service by going to My Training and clicking on Add me to event. Once this has been clicked, the approver will get a notification to approve or reject this request.

πŸ“Œ Note: The employee cannot cancel their request once it has been submitted.

If it's approved, the employee will see the training even in My Training which will have the following message: 'You are on this even with the status Booked on Event.'

Once the above has been completed, the employee will not be able to cancel the training. This can only be done by their manager or by another employee with System Owner rights who can delete their training by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the employee's profile and click Employment.

  2. Click Training.

  3. Select the training event and click Delete.

The employee will then see in Self Service that they are not added to the event any longer.
