Set up a training event

Follow these steps to set up a training event and add attendees.

Set up a training event

  1. Click Admin Menu, then Training Management.

  2. Click Add Training Event.

  3. Select a training course from the Course dropdown.

  4. If the course you need is not in the list, click Add Course.

  5. Enter the details of the course as needed, then click Save.

  6. Complete the fields in the Event Information area.

  7. Click Next.

  8. Search for the name of the trainer and click Add Trainer.

  9. Click Next once you've added all trainers.

  10. On page 3, determine the minimum and maximum number of attendees for this event.

  11. Type the name of an employee in the Additional Attendees field and click Add Attendee to add them to the event.

  12. Click Next.

  13. Click Save.

πŸ“Œ Attendees cannot be added in bulk and will need to be search for and added individually.


Set up training reminders

Once the event has been saved, click on it to add reminders.

  1. Click Admin Menu, then Training Management.

  2. Click Training Events.

  3. Click the event you've just created.

  4. Click the Reminders tab, then Add Reminder.

  5. Click Generic Email Reminder to set up a custom email from scratch.

  6. Click Email Template Reminder to use a template that's already created in the system.

  7. In the Send Email area, determine when the reminder will be sent.

  8. Select the recipient:

    • All Attendees

    • Creator

    • Organiser

  9. Click Save.
