Request leave in Self Service

Follow the steps in this article to request leave for yourself in Self Service.

To submit leave requests for yourself:

  1. Go to Self Service and click My Leave.

  2. Select the period you need to add leave for from the Period dropdown.

  3. Click Add Leave.

  4. Select the absence type from the Absence Category field.

  5. Enter the first and last day of leave.

  6. If you only need to add leave for part of a day, check the Part Day checkbox and enter the same date in both fields.

  7. Enter the number of working days in the Working Days field.

  8. If available, you can also use your lieu days. In this case, enter the number of days in the Lieu Days field and enter 0 in the Working Days field.

  9. Make sure the correct approver is selected in the Approver field.

  10. Click Submit.

Your leave request will be displayed as pending approval until your manager processes it.
