Request sickness in Self Service

Follow these steps to request sickness from Self Service.

To request sickness please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Self Service and click My Sickness.

  2. Click Add Sickness in the top right corner.

  3. Select a cause in the Sickness Cause dropdown.

  4. Enter the first and expected last days.

  5. If you will be working part of the first or last day, tick the Worked Part of First Day or Worked Part of Last Day boxes respectively.

  6. Enter the number or working days you will be off sick in the Working Days field.

  7. (Optional) Any comments can be added in the Comments text box.

  8. (Optional) Documents relevant to your sickness request can be uploaded by clicking on Upload Document.

  9. Select the correct option in the Manager dropdown and click Submit.

πŸ“Œ Note: Sicknesses don't require approval. The manager you have selected when submitting the request will receive a notification to let them know that your sickness has been added and they will be able to go to your profile and close the sickness when the end date is known.
