If an employee's contract has changed and will need, for example, to be moved from Full Time to Part Time, this can be done by amending their contract days and/or contract hours.
To do this, follow the steps below:
Search for the employee and go to their profile.
Click Payroll and then Pay.
Click Pay History.
If the date of the contract change is already on this page, click the salary line in question.
Amend the values in the Contracted Days and Contract Hours fields as needed, then click Save.
If the date of the contract change is not on this page, crate a new line by clicking on Add Payment in the lower right corner.
Enter the details of the salary, such as the grade and payscale.
Enter the values in the Contracted Days and Contract Hours fields.
Click Save.
β οΈ Important: If you see several salary lines in the Pay History page you will need to make sure that all of them have the correct number of contracted days and hours depending on their effective date.
