Assign a working pattern template to an employee
To add a working pattern to an employee, follow the steps below:
Go to the employee's profile and click Employment.
Click Working Pattern.
Click onEdit.
To add a working pattern starting with today's date, select a template from the Template dropdown list and click Save.
To add a working pattern starting with a specific date, click Add Working Pattern History.
Add the start date and select the working pattern template, then click Save.
Using the working pattern when adding leave
Once the above steps have been completed, you can use the working pattern on an employee's profile to automatically count the number of working days when adding leave.
Go to the employee's profile and click Absence.
Select Leave and then Add Leave.
Enter the time range using the First Day of Leave and Last Day of Leave fields.
Check the Use Working Pattern box.
Click Submit.
