Adding two part day leave entries on the same day
The system will allow you to add two part day leave entries for the same day as long as the employee does not have the Show on Rota box ticked.
To remove this from the employee:
Search for the employee and go to their profile.
Click Payroll, then Rotas.
Click Edit.
Untick the Show on Rota box and click Save.
Once these steps are completed, you will be able to go back to the employee's Absence page and add two part day leave entries on the same day.
Adding a full day or several leave days
If you are receiving the error message 'Leave or Sickness already booked in this date range' when adding leave that spans over one full day or several days, check the employee's Leave and Sickness pages:
Search for the employee and go to their profile.
Click Absence, then Leave.
Click the entry that is in the same date range as the leave you are trying to add.
If this absence is incorrect you can either change its start and end dates or delete it, after which you will be able to add the other absence.
Click Sickness and check the entries on this page as well.
Edit or delete any sicknesses that are incorrect.
