Payslips menu missing from Self Service

The Payslips menu will not be displayed if employees don't have the correct permission or if the option isn't added in the Menu Structures.

Add the permission on the Employee role

To make sure that all employees have the Payslips menu in Self Service you will need to add the permission on the Employee role.

  1. Click Setup and then Roles & Permissions.

  2. Click the Employee role.

  3. Click Role Permissions and then Edit Permissions.

  4. Search for the permission 'View Payslips' and click the eye icon so that it's set to green.

  5. Click Save.


Add the menu in Menu Structures

If you have followed the steps above and the Payslips menu is still not being displayed for employees under Self Service, check the Menu Structure to ensure the option is added under the correct category.

  1. Go to Setup and click Settings.

  2. Click Menu Structures.

  3. Select the relevant structure. This will usually be ReachOut or AccessHR.

  4. Scroll down to the bottom of this page, where the Other section is displayed.

  5. If the Payslips option is displayed under Other, click on it.

  6. Select Self Service from the Menu Group dropdown and click on Save.
