The default payslip format will display the following details on the document:
The name of the Payroll the employee is on
The name of the Section the employee's post is created under
The name of the school won't be displayed unless the Payroll or Section is named the same as the school.
We advise against changing the names of sections as this will create confusion in the organisational structure. Sections are usually named something similar to Support Staff, Teaching Staff, Leadership etc. This should not be changed in order to keep the structure easy to understand and navigate.
However, you can rename your Payroll. This could be called something like 'Monthly Payroll' by default, which means that on the payslip the header at the top of the document will be 'Monthly Payroll'.
To rename your Payroll:
Go to Setup and click Settings.
Click Module Settings, then Payroll Settings.
Click Payroll.
Select your Payroll and enter the name of the school in the Description field.
Click Save.
