Check the employee's payslip delivery method
All employees should have their delivery method set to 'Online', as this will ensure that a payslip is uploaded on Access Education People for them to see in Self Service.
To check and amend this:
Search for the employee and go to their profile.
Click Payroll, then Pay.
Click Edit in the Pay Details section.
Select Online in the Payslip Delivery dropdown.
Click Save.
Unable to see the Payslip Delivery dropdown
If you are unable to see the Payslip Delivery dropdown in order to select an option:
Go to Setup, then click on Settings.
Click on Field Settings and search for FormData_Employment_m.PayslipDeliveryMethodEnum.
Click on this field and select Optional in the Display field.
Next, go back to Settings and then System Settings.
Click on Global and search for Online Payslip Default Value.
Make sure the Boolean checkbox is ticked.
From the Boolean dropdown list, select True and click on Save.
Once this is saved, go back to the employee's profile to select the Online option as the payslips delivery method.
Check if the payslip file has been uploaded
If the employee's payslip delivery method was already selected correctly when you checked, it's possible the payslip file was not uploaded for them.
To check if this is the case:
Click Payroll and then Admin Payslips.
Click the Data Files tab.
Click View File on the payslips line for the month of the missing payslip.
In the new tab that opens, press CTRL + F on your keyboard and search for the employee's name or employee number.
If the search finds no results, the payslip for this employee has not been uploaded as part of this month's payslip import.
In this case, please reach out to your Payroll Agent as they handle the importing of payslip files and will be able to advise.
π Note: Please keep in mind that the Access Education People software does not generate payslip files. The data needs to be imported manually and this task is completed by your school's Payroll Agent.
