Employees will have access to different menus depending on the roles and permissions they have. For example, a user who only has the Employee role and no other permissions will only be able to see the Self Service menu.

However, you can also amend the structure of the menus on the left in order to include or exclude menus.

This way, if you remove a menu from the structure, no users will see it even if they do have the correct permissions.

To amend menu structures:

  1. Click Setup, then Settings.

  2. Click Menu Structures.

  3. Click the menu structure that isn't marked as 'Default'.

  4. Click on a submenu from each menu group to change its settings.

  5. Change the option in the Menu Group dropdown to determine which menu this submenu will show under.

  6. Change the number in the Order field to determine the order in which the submenu will be displayed.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Scroll down to the Other menu group. These are submenus that aren't currently available anywhere in the menu structure.

  9. Click on an option and change its menu group from Other to any other group.

  10. Click Save to make this submenu available.
