When an employee returns from maternity leave earlier or later than previously expected you will need to change the date in the Last Day of Leave field.

  1. Search for the employee and go to their profile.

  2. Click Absence, then Leave.

  3. Select the correct period from the Period dropdown.

  4. Click the maternity leave entry.

  5. Change the date in the Last Day of Leave field.

  6. If this leave uses a working pattern template to calculate the number of days, untick the Use Working Pattern box and then tick it again. This will re-calculate the number of days using the new end date.

  7. If this leave has a number of working days added manually, calculate the new value and change it in the Working Days field.

  8. Once you have made sure that the start and end dates are correct, as well as the number of working days the employee has been on leave, click Save.
