Unable to log in to Access Education People

Follow these steps if an employee is unable to log in to Access Education People.

All current employees will need to log in to Access Evo first and then open Access Education People by clicking on the Access Button in the top left corner of the screen and then selecting People.

Log in via Access Evo

To log in via Access Evo:

  1. Enter your work email address and click Next.

  2. If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot your password?

  3. Click Send me the code.

  4. Stay on this page until you receive an email with the code.

  5. Enter the validation code and reset the password.

  6. Once logged in, click the Access Button in the top left corner.

  7. Click People.

πŸ“Œ Note: If the email doesn't arrive, please check your Junk or Spam folders and make sure that emails sent from [email protected] aren't being blocked or quarantined.


Make sure you are using the correct email address

Your manager or any System Owner user will be able to check if you are using the correct email address by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the employee's profile in Access Education People.

  2. Click Employment, then Position.

  3. Scroll to Work Contact and click Edit.

  4. Enter the correct email in the Work/Workspace Email field and click Save.

  5. Go to Access Evo and click the Members icon.

  6. Search for the employee and make sure the email address in Access Evo matches the one in Access Education People.


Clear your browser's cache

If you are using the correct email address and tried resetting your password but you are still unable to log in, clear your browser's cache by following the steps below:

  1. Click the three dot menu in the top right corner of the browser.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Click Privacy and security on the left.

  4. Click Clear browsing data.

  5. Select All time from the time range dropdown, then tick the Cached images and files box.

  6. Click Clear data.

  7. Close all Google Chrome windows.

  8. Open Google Chrome and go to the Access Evo login page.


Log in through a direct Education People link

If users aren't logging in via Access Evo and are instead logging in directly to Access Education People using a username and password, their password can be reset by following the steps below:

  1. Go to the employee's profile and click the Person tab.

  2. Click Profile then click Reset password.

The employee receives a password reset email to their personal email address. If the employee doesn't receive the email:

  1. Go to the employee's profile and click the Person tab.

  2. Click Profile.

  3. Click Edit in the Contact section.

  4. Enter the correct email address and click Save.

  5. Click Reset Password.


​​​​​Check that the sending of log-on emails is enabled

  1. Click Setup then click Settings.

  2. Click System Settings.

  3. Click Global, then search for People logon Emails Enabled.

  4. From the Boolean dropdown list, select True.

  5. Click Save.
