Terminated employee unable to log in

Follow these steps if a leaver is unable to access their account.

Terminated employees will have, by default, a period of 3 months after termination during which they can still access their payslips and documents.

As long as they are still in their grace period they will be able to log in by accessing Education People directly (not via Access Evo) and using their username and password.

First, provide the leaver with the correct link to use to log in. Please advise them that they will no longer be able to log in via Access Evo and will instead need to use a separate link.

You can get this link by clicking on the Logout icon in the top right corner of the screen next to your name in Access Education People.

The link will generally be in the format below:

Next, provide the leaver with their credentials by following the steps below:

  1. Use the search icon in the top right corner of the screen to find the leaver and go to their profile.

  2. Click Person, then Profile.

  3. Click Edit in the Contact section.

  4. Enter the correct email address in the Personal Email Address field.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Click Person, then Profile.

  7. Click Reset Password.

At this point they will receive an email to their personal email address with the link to go to, the username and the password to use to log in.
