Once an employee is added in a post, their post title will be the same as the name of their post. However, the employee can also have a job title added, which can differ from their post title.

Creating a job title

If the job title you need to assign to the employee is not available in the dropdown list, follow the steps below to create it:

  1. Go to Setup and click Settings.

  2. Select Module Settings and then HR.

  3. Click Post Title.

  4. Search for the title in the Quick Search bar at the top.

  5. If this is already created, click on the title.

  6. Check the Job Title Applicable box and click Save.

  7. If your search has no results, click Add Post Title.

  8. Enter a Description and a Code in their relevant fields.

  9. Make sure to check the Job Title Applicable box and click Save.

Once this is completed, go to the employee's profile and assign the job title as per the steps above.

Assigning a job title to an employee

  1. Go to the employee's profile and click Employment.

  2. Select Position and then click Edit in the Employment area.

  2. Select Module Settings and then HR.

  3. Click Post Title.
