Add alternating working pattern templates

Follow these steps to add alternating working pattern templates for an employee.

When adding working patterns for employees you can add alternating templates that will change automatically based on the working pattern history.

To set this up:

  1. Search for the employee and go to their profile.

  2. Click Employment, then Working Pattern.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Click Add Working Pattern History.

  5. Select the start date and end dates using the Start Date and End Date field.

  6. Select the template from the Working Pattern dropdown.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Click Add Working Pattern History again and follow the steps above to assign a new template with a new start date.

  9. Click Save.

Following the steps above you can assign, for example, one template during the current month and a different template starting with next month. This way, you can plan ahead the employee's working patterns so they will change automatically.

⚠️ Important: Please make sure that the templates don't overlap. It is not possible to have two templates active at the same time.
