Add and remove a contract end date

Follow these steps to add, change or remove the contract end date for an employee.

You can add a contract end date to an employee without terminating them by following the steps below:

  1. Search for the employee and go to their profile.

  2. Click Employment, then Position.

  3. Click Edit in the Employment area.

  4. Add, change or delete the date as needed from the Contract End Date field.

  5. Click Save.

Once this is done, the employee's holiday entitlement will have the same end date as the contract end date you've added, resulting in less available days to take in the current absence period.

You will still need to terminate the employee if they need to become a leaver in the system.

Adding a contract end date does not terminate them and will not mark them as a pending leaver.
