⚠️ Warning: Once a holiday entitlement template has been created as Days, it should not be changed at a later time to Hours.
Leave from Access Education People gets exported to the Payroll software as days, not hours. Because of this, it is not needed to change a template from days to hours.
Making this change will result in issues with the employee's leave balance. The leave entries that have already been added in days will not change to hours and everything the employee has booked in days prior to changing the holiday entitlement template will still be displayed in days, not hours.
Unpaid leave in hours
If you need to add unpaid leave to an employee in hours, this will need to be added as a pay claim or one-off payment.
