Create a new template
Click Setup and select Settings.
Expand Module Settings and select HR, then Holiday Entitlement.
Click Add Holiday Entitlement.
Add in a description, select Days or Hours from the Days or Hours dropdown list and add in a value in the Entitlement field.
If needed, check the Length of Service checkbox.
Click Add Length of Service.
Enter the basic number of days or hours in the Entitlement field.
Enter zero in the Current Year of Service field.
Click Add Length of Service again.
Enter a new number of days or hours in the Entitlement field.
Enter the year the employee must reach to change to this new value in the Current Year of Service field.
Set up as many lines as needed, then click on Save.
For example, below is the set up for an entitlement of 28 days when the employee first starts in their post, which then changes to 33 days when they have completed 5 years in their post:
π Note: You need to enter the current year the employee is in for the change of entitlement. This means that if you need the change to happen after 3 years of service, for example, you will need to enter 4 in the Current Year of Service field.
Assign the template to an employee
Go to the employee's profile and click the Absence tab.
Select Leave from the menu on the right.
Click Edit Current Holiday Entitlement.
Select Template and then the new template from the dropdown list, then click Save.
Assign the template to a post
Go to Admin Menu and click Post Setup.
Search for the post and click it.
Click Absence and then Leave in the menu on the left.
Click Edit next to Holiday Entitlements.
Select the template then click on Save.
