The end date for the current holiday entitlement template will always show as today's date on an employee's profile. This is in order to ensure that when you are adding a new template, the previous one is stopped with the correct date.

However, this doesn't mean that the entitlement is ending. Unless you have manually entered the date in the End Date field, the template will be active until it is changed.

This can be seen by following the steps below:

  1. Search for an employee and go to their profile.

  2. Click Absence, then Leave.

  3. Click Edit Holiday Entitlement History.

  4. Select the latest effective date in the list.

    • You will see the end date at the top of the page as a read-only field.

⚠️ Important: If the end date of the current entitlement is displayed as today's date, the system is working as designed. This will not stop the holiday entitlement or affect the employee's leave allowance in any way.
