A terminated employment will be listed in the HR Export file as a historic employment if a change has been made to the employee's profile. This could be a change of salary on the terminated employment or any data added or amended on their profile in Access Education People.

First, check if the termination end date is present on the export file. You can download the file by following the steps below:

  1. Go to Payroll and click Import/Export.

  2. Click HR Export.

  3. Click Download File on the export file you need to take a look at.

  4. Search within the document for the employee's payroll number and check to see if the end date is present.

If the end date is present on the file, the terminated employment will not export to Payroll and will not cause any issues.
