Unable to select a payscale when configuring a TLR

Follow these steps if you cannot choose the payscale you need when setting up a TLR pay element and linking it to a negotiating body.

When setting up a TLR pay element and linking it to a negotiating body you will need to select the lower and upper grades, as well as the lower and upper payscales.

These will pull through as they've been set up on the negotiating body.

If you cannot see the option to select the payscale you require you will need to check that the grades have been correctly configured:

  1. Go to Setup and click Settings.

  2. Click Module Settings, then Payroll Settings.

  3. Click Pay Grade and Payscale.

  4. Click the arrow icon next to the TLR negotiating body.

  5. Click the Grades tab.

  6. Click each grade and ensure that the lower and upper payscales have been chosen correctly.

Once this is done, go back to your TLR pay element and select the payscale:

  1. Go to Setup and click Settings.

  2. Click Module Settings, then Payroll Settings.

  3. Click Pay Element, then the TLR pay element you need to configure.

  4. Select the lower and upper grades.

  5. Select the lower and upper payscales.

  6. Click Save.
