Unable to run reports for some sections

Follow the guidance in this article if a user can only see employees from certain sections when running reports.

Check access on the post

If an employee is unable to generate reports for some divisions or sections on the system, check first that they have access to them:

  1. Go to Admin Menu and click Post Setup.

  2. Click the post that the employee is in.

  3. Click Security and select Employee Access.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. In the Organisation Structure Access, select all sections that this post needs access to.

  6. Click Save.

πŸ“Œ Note: When adding access to sections on a post, this will affect all employees in this post.


Division of person running reports

Secondly, check with the employee if they are running a report from the Division of Person Running folder in the Other Reports menu. If there are several divisions on the system, reports from this folder will only show the employees in the division of the employee running the report.
