Set up a scheduled report

Follow these steps to set up a scheduled report in the Other Reports menu.

Reports that are in the Other Reports menu can be scheduled by following the steps below.

πŸ“Œ Note: Standard reports cannot be scheduled.

Create the email template

You will first need to set up an email template that will be used when sending out the scheduled report.

  1. Go to Setup and click Content.

  2. Click Emails, then Configuration.

  3. Click Scheduled Reports, then Add Email.

  4. Enter the details of the email template as prompted and click Save.


Set up the scheduled report

  1. Click Reports, then Other Reports.

  2. Select the report you want to schedule.

  3. Click Add Schedule.

  4. Select the template you've created from the Email Template dropdown.

  5. Select a format from the Output Format dropdown.

  6. Enter the name of the employee that needs to receive the report by email, then click Add.

  7. Select one of the options below:

    • Multiple days: Select this option if you want this report to be sent on multiple days within the week.

    • Monthly: Select this option if you want this report to be sent on a specific day and time of the month.

    • Chron / Cron Expression: This requires technical knowledge, please do not use unless advised by a member of the support team.

  8. Click Save.

πŸ“Œ Note: It is not possible to set up two or more schedules for the same report. To do this you would need to duplicate the report and create a separate schedule.
