When creating a post, you can either start from scratch or begin by duplicating an existing post.
Duplicating will copy over all settings from an existing post and you will then be able to change any settings that need amending on the new post.
To duplicate a post:
Click Admin Menu and then Post Setup.
Search for the post using the Quick Search field and click on it.
Click Duplicate Post at the bottom of the screen.
Click Yes.
Not all settings will be copied over on the duplicated post, for example background checks will not be replicated and will need to be set up again on the duplicated post.
Determine which post is the new one
Click Admin Menu and then Post Setup.
Search for the post using the Quick Search field and you will now see two entries with the same title and post reference.
Click one of the posts.
Click Security, then Audit Log.
Check the date on the Post - Add line to determine when it has been created.
Find the post you've just created by checking the audit log.
Click Details in the left menu on the new post.
Click Edit in the Basic Details section.
Amend the post reference in the Post Reference field to a new code that is unique within the posts on the system.
Amend any other settings on the post as needed, then click Save.
β οΈ Important: It is very important to amend the post reference on the new post in order to ensure that no two posts on the system have the same code.
