The error 'Teacher appears to be in first year of induction after more than 2 years in post' is caused by the employee having the NQT - Newly Qualified Teacher status with a date that is two or more years after their start date.
If this is not correct, you can amend it by following the steps below:
Search for the employee using the search icon and click on their name.
Go to Employment and click Teacher.
Select General Teacher Details and click Edit.
Select the correct option from the NQT - Newly Qualified Teacher dropdown list.
Enter the correct date in the Qualified field and click Save.
If the date added in the Qualified field is correct but also two or more years after the employee's start date then this will need to be resolved by adding a note with an explanation when uploading the SWC report into COLLECT.
📌 Note: The start date of the employee that will be taken into consideration is not that of their current post, but that of their employment.
