Add a teacher number to an employee

You can add a teacher number to an employee by following these quick steps.

Permission needed

In order to see the Teacher menu and add a teacher number to an employee you will need the 'Employment Teacher' permission which can be added for you by your manager or any System Owner user by following the steps in our article on adding permissions.


Add a teacher number to an employee

  1. Search for the employee and go to their profile.

  2. Click Employment on the top menu bar.

  3. Select Teacher from the right hand menu bar.

  4. Click General Teacher Details.

  5. Click Edit in the top right corner.

  6. You can enter the number in the Teacher Number field on this screen along with any other relevant information.

  7. Click Save.

πŸ“Œ Note: The teacher number also stands as the pension reference number. As there are no other fields in the system for a pension number, this will need to be added by following the steps above.
