New Permission for 'Rota - Complete All Rotas'

We are pleased to announce a new enhancement based on user feedback to improve the accuracy and control within the Rota Management system.

  • New Permission Added: 'Rota - Complete All Rotas'

  • Default Settings:

    • Enabled for System Administrator role.

    • Disabled for all other roles by default.

  • Functionality:

    • When enabled, this permission allows users to view and select the 'Complete Rotas' option on the main Rota overview screen.

This enhancement addresses feedback regarding the accidental selection of 'Complete Rotas' on the overview screen, which completes all rotas instead of the intended specific rota.

By limiting this permission, the possibility of such mistakes is significantly reduced, enhancing user control and accuracy.

We believe this update will improve the user experience by providing better control and reducing errors in the Rota Management process.

Daily Rate and Hourly Rate Added to the Rota Hours Report

We have introduced an enhancement to the Rota Hours Report that provides users with more detailed financial insights, directly addressing user feedback.

  • New Additions to the Rota Hours Report:

    • Daily Rate

    • Hourly Rate

  • Default Settings:

    • All users of the Rota Hours Report will see the newly added columns. To manage access to the Rota Hours Report for specific individuals or roles, please adjust the 'Report Standard Rota Hours' permission according to your requirements.

This improvement reduces the need for users to run multiple reports to meet their requirements.

We believe this update will improve the user experience by providing wage rate details in an easily accessible format.

Leave, Sickness, and Training Hours Added to Printed Rotas

  • New Additions:

    • Leave, Sickness, and Training hours now appear against the associated day when printing rotas.

    • This change applies to both printing rotas from the main Rota screens and the multi-rota screen.

  • Previous Limitation:

    • Previously, only the associated icons were visible, and the hours were not displayed.

  • Default Setting:

    • Depending on the device you are using, users may be required to select ‘Background graphics’ on the Windows Print pop up.

  • User Control:

    • Users can deselect the Absence and Training hours within the print preview screens, which will revert the print versions back to showing only icons.

This improvement provides users with a more detailed and informative printout of rotas.
Users can now easily see the exact hours for Leave, Sickness, and Training, enhancing the utility of printed rotas for planning and communication.

We believe this update will significantly improve the user experience by providing essential details in printed rotas, making them more informative and useful.

Pending ATS Onboarding Approvals in Pending Approval Report

We are pleased to announce an enhancement to the Pending Approval Report, directly addressing user feedback to streamline the approval process.

  • New Addition:

    • The Pending Approval Report now displays outstanding ATS Onboarding approvals. No configuration is required. The new feature is available immediately

This enhancement is designed to simplify the approval process and can easily identify, in bulk, where ATS Onboarding approvals are pending.

Administrator P60 View & Download

We are excited to announce a new enhancement that significantly improves administrative efficiency and support capabilities based on user feedback.

  • New Feature:

    • Users now have the ability to view and download an employee’s P60.

  • Permissions Required:

    • A new permission, 'Administrator P60', has been introduced.

      • View Permission: When enabled, users will see the P60 tab and overview screen within the Payroll area of an employee's profile.

      • Can Do Permission: When enabled, users can print/download a PDF version of the P60.

  • Previous Limitation:

    • Previously, P60s were only accessible via self-service, and Admins/Managers could not access these documents on behalf of their employees.

This change allows Admins to provide better support to employees by accessing and managing P60 documents as needed.


We believe this enhancement will greatly improve the user experience by enabling Admins to efficiently handle P60-related tasks and offer better support to employees.


How this version will be made available

Release upgrades automatically deploy to customer People instances. During the upgrade downtime can occur, we expect this to be no longer than five minutes.
