Custom Reporting: Additions & Deductions Data Set

The Additions & Deductions data set is available when creating a Custom Report.

πŸ€“ Tip: Check out our article on managing custom reports for further guidance on this.

The Additions & Deductions data set reports on all additions and deductions that are applied to Employees.

Filtering 0 yearly values

Lines with 0 yearly value can be filtered from the report view by filtering on the Value (Yearly) column as follows:

  1. Create a custom report using the Additions & Deductions data set.

  2. Use the horizontal scroll bar to find the Value (Yearly) column in the Additions & Deductions section.

  3. Hover over the column header and click the three lines icon that appears to open the column options pane.

  4. Click the three lines icon and click the Filter icon (three lines with different lengths) in the middle of the top of the column options pane.

  5. Select Does not equal in the drop down list of filter operators.

  6. Type 0 (zero) in the filter value. The report will automatically filter the rows to only show rows with a yearly value that is not zero.

  7. Click anywhere on the report to close the column options pane.

πŸ“Œ Note: If you would like to create a report that runs with this filter applied by default, you can click Edit under the Options menu and follow the steps above, then click Save to save the column filter settings.

You can also take a look at our article on editing custom reports for further guidance.
