Custom Reporting - Manage and create reports

This article provides guidance on searching for, creating, duplicating and deleting custom reports in the Custom Reporting menu.

With the new Custom Reporting module, we offer a lot of new tools to view and manage your reports, giving more power to you. See below for a breakdown of the different pieces of functionality at your disposal.

Find reports

  1. Go to Reports and click Custom Reporting.

  2. To find a report, either enter its name in the searchbar or use the filters below.
    ​

    • My Favourites: This will filter the list to show reports that you have favourited by clicking on the star icon to the right of the report. The favourite status is applied to an individual user and is not applied system wide, so your list of favourite reports is unique to you.

    • My Recently Viewed: Selecting this will show all the reports that you have viewed in the last 4 weeks.

    • My Frequently Viewed: This filter will show your top 5 most frequently viewed reports.

    • Created By Me: This filter will filter the list to only show reports where they have been created by you.

    • Last Edited By Me: Similarly, this will filter the list to only show reports where you were the last person to edit them.


Create a report

  1. Go to Reports and click Custom Reporting.

  2. Click Create a Custom Report.

  3. Select an option from the Data Type dropdown list. This will determine which columns will be available in the report.

  4. Enter a title in the Report Name field.

  5. Any useful information on the report can be added in the Report Description field.

  6. Click Submit.

You will then be taken to the edit mode for this report. For more guidance please refer to our article on editing custom reports.


Duplicate a report

  1. Go to Reports and click Custom Reporting.

  2. Click Options to the right of the report and select Duplicate.

  3. Alternatively, if you have the report already open, click Options at the top of the screen and select Duplicate.


Delete a report

  1. Go to Reports and click Custom Reporting.

  2. Click Options to the right of the report and select Delete.

  3. Alternatively, if you have the report already open, click Options at the top of the screen and select Delete.
