Recommended reports prior to your first payroll run

In this article, we advise on some reports you can run prior to preforming your first payroll run.

Please look at some of the recommended reports below to help you run your first payroll run.

Sickness

This report shows all sickness reported correctly in HR and gets exported to payroll, it also shows open sicknesses.

To view this report:

  1. Click Standard Reports then select Sickness.

  2. Click Employee Sickness Report.


Additions and Deductions to Basic Pay

This report shows all additions and deductions for each employee.

To view this report:

  1. Click Standard Reports then select Pay.

  2. Click Pay and Allowance Export.


Pay claims

This shows all batch claims for employees as well as their status.

To view this report:

  1. Click Standard Reports.

  2. Select Pay then click Pay Claim.


Leave

With this report, you can select a date range on the report to check all leave for each employee.

To view this report:

  1. Click Other Reports then select Holiday.

  2. Click Employee Leave.


Pending Approval

This report highlights where items haven't yet been approved and also who the approval is with.

To view this report:

  1. Click Standard Reports then select Processes.

  2. Click Pending Approval Report.


Starters and Leavers

On this report, you can select a date range to check that all new starters and leavers are appearing as expected.

To view this report:

  • Click Other Reports then select Starters and Leavers.


Person activation requirements

This report shows any missing required information that suspends their pay and therefore the employee won't export to payroll if prevent payroll is Yes.

To view this report:

  1. Click Other Reports then select System Health Checks.

  2. Click Person Activation Requirements.


Data Check

This report shows any missing required information such as bank details etc.

To view this report:

  1. Click Other Reports then select Employee.

  2. Click Data Check.
