If you need to change an employee's basic pay or add a new salary line without approval from the employee's line manager you will need the permission 'Manager Entry - Override Salary Approval Workflow'.
This permission can be added to you by your manager or any System Owner user by following the steps in our article on adding permissions.
⚠️ Important: The System Owner role has his permission by default, which means all users with the System Owner role will be able to override the approval workflow when adding salaries.
