Error: 'Permission denied' when approving leave or sickness

Follow these steps to ensure that an employee is able to approve leave or sickness for their team.

Approvers for leave and sickness will need the permissions below:

  • Leave Admin

  • Absence Approval

To enable these:

  1. Search for the approver and go to their profile.

  2. Click Security, then Permissions.

  3. Click Edit Employee Permissions.

  4. Search for the permissions above and click the eye icon for both so that they are not crossed out.

  5. Click Save.
