Delete a pay claims batch that has been submitted

You can delete a pay claims batch that has been submitted but not yet processed.

Once a pay claims batch has been submitted it will go to an approver to be approved or rejected as needed.

If the status of the claim is Awaiting Approval, the approver can reject it by following the steps in our article on rejecting claims. This will return the claim to the creator, who can then delete it.

If the status of the claim is Authorised this means it has been approved but not yet processed. The approver can still reject it at this point by accessing the claim in their Notifications page.

However, if the status of the claim is Submitted to Payroll or Sent to Payroll, the batch can no longer be deleted from Access Education People as it has already been processed and exported to the Payroll system.

Please speak to your Payroll Agent and let us know via the Digital Assistant that the claim needs to be removed.
