Change an email template

This article provides guidance on changing the wording of an email sent from the system.

If you have noticed mistakes in an email template or need to edit the wording, you can change the template in the Content menu.

  1. Click Setup, then Content.

  2. Expand the Emails menu.

  3. Click the folder in which the template has been created.

  4. Select an email template and click Edit in the top right corner.

  5. Amend the wording as needed, then click Save.

πŸ“Œ Note: There are emails sent from the system by default that cannot be edited, such as the email sent to line managers when an employee has reached a sickness trigger.


Change the wording on the termination email

When you terminate an employee they will receive an email that includes their username and a temporary password.

If you would like to amend the wording on this email:

  1. Click Setup, then Content.

  2. Expand the Emails menu.

  3. Click HR, then Termination.

  4. Click the email template in this folder.

    • The name of this template will differ depending on school, but will generally be Termination Email or Termination Account Details.

  5. Click Edit in the top right corner.

  6. Amend the wording as needed, then click Save.
