Follow these steps to resolve the error 'Employee already has a request to go on this course'.

If an employee receives the error 'Employee already has a request to go on this course', this means they already have a training request submitted for the same course on the same date. This request will most likely be either open or rejected.

In this case, the previous request needs to be deleted in order to add a new one.

The request can be deleted by any employee with the permission 'Employment Training', which can be added for them by their manager or any System Owner user by following the steps in our article on adding permissions.

To delete an employee's training request, please follow the steps below:

  1. Search for the employee and go to their profile.

  2. Click Employment and then Training.

  3. Click the training request and then Delete.
