The error 'error loading data: Local storage has been cleared, please refresh' will be displayed on an employee's profile when trying to add leave or sickness for them if they are currently on an absence scheme with no absence periods created.
To resolve this, you will need to change the employee's absence scheme:
Search for the employee and go to their profile.
Click Absence, then Leave.
Click OK on the error message until it disappears.
Click Change Absence Period Scheme.
Select an option other than Default, then click Save.
