To clear the error you're receiving, you want to make sure that the codes being used are correct and when confirmed, re-run the error list to clear this error. To do this, follow the below.

πŸ“Œ Note: Refer to the Government guidance for more information on this change. You can find this in section 7.1.6.

Check the gender field for employees

  1. Search the employee then select their record.

  2. Click Person then click Profile.

  3. Click Edit in the Profile section.

  4. Make sure the correct option is selected in the Gender dropdown and click Save.

Confirm the Male and Female SWC codes appear as Male and Female

  1. Click Settings then click Module Settings.

  2. Select SWC Settings then Select SWC Gender.

  3. Select Female and under SWC Code, confirm it shows as F.

  4. Select Male and under SWC Code, confirm it shows as M.

Confirm the Code, HMRC Code, and SWC Code show as Male and Female

  1. Click Settings then click Module Settings.

  2. Select General then click Person Gender.

  3. Select Female and confirm the below:

    • Code: F

    • HMRC Code: F

    • SWC Code: Female

  4. Once you've confirmed the female codes, do the same for male.

  5. Repeat steps 1 to 2 then select Male.

  6. Confirm the below:

    • Code: M

    • HMRC Code: M

    • SWC Code: Male

You then need to re-export your School Workforce Census and run the error list from the new export for the error to no longer show.
