Set up TLRs to pull through on the SWC export

Additions to basic pay such as TLRs can be set up to pull through on the SWC export by following the steps in this article.

In order to make sure that TLRs will be displayed on the School Workforce Census export you will need to check the settings of the pay element as below:

  1. Go to Setup and click Settings.

  2. Select Module Settings and then Payroll Settings.

  3. Click Pay Element.

  4. Search for the name of the pay element, for example 'TLR', depending on the additions you have set up on your system.

  5. Click the pay element.

  6. Select the correct option from the School Workforce Census Type dropdown list.

  7. Click Save.

⚠️ Important: Only permanent pay elements (such as TLRs) will need to have a SWC Type added. Not all pay elements need this (for example, overtime should not have the SWC Type added).
