Assigning access on the post

You can give a post access to sections on the system, which ensures that all employees added in this post will have access to the sections selected.

  1. Go to Admin Menu and select Post Setup.

  2. Search for the post and click on it.

  3. Click Security and select Employee Access.

  4. Click Edit on the right hand side.

  5. Tick one of the options below:

No Access: Select this option if you need all employees in this post to have no access on the system. They will not be able to view or edit any of the sections and will not see any other employee profiles other than their own.

Reporting Structure Access: Employees in this post will have access only to their team (their direct reports).

Organisation Structure Access: Select this option if you want to be able to manually select which sections the employees in this post will have access to. Once ticked, highlight each section in order to give the post access to them.

All People and Employments: Full access to all sections on the system.

  6. Click Save to save your changes.

Assigning access to an employee

You can also give a specific employee access to a section or subsection:

  1. Go to the employee's profile and select Security, then Permissions.

  2. Click Edit Employee Permissions.

  3. Search for the name of the section and click on the eye icon to enable it.

  4. If your search returns no results, click Filters and select Options.

  5. Select Advanced and then click Filter.

  6. Search for the section again and click on the eye icon to enable it.

  7. Click Save.
