Add emergency contacts in Self Service

You can add your own next of kin contacts in Self Service by following the steps in this article.

Permission needed

To be able to add your emergency contacts in Self Service you will need the permission 'SelfService NextOfKin'. Depending on the level of access you need, this can be added as view, add, edit and delete.

This can be added for you by your manager or any System Owner user by following the steps below:

  1. Select the Magnifying Glass icon then search for the Employee.

  2. Click the Security tab then click Permissions.

  3. Click Edit Employee Permissions.

  4. Add or remove the relevant permissions then click Save.


Adding emergency contacts from Self Service

  1. Click Self Service and then My Profile.

  2. Click Edit in the Emergency Contacts section.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Add the details of your emergency contact.

  5. If you add more than one emergency contact, tick the Primary Emergency Contact box for one of them to mark them as primary.

  6. Click Save.

⚠️ Important: If you are unable to see the Add button, please make sure you are not zoomed in or else this button may not be available to you. Press CTRL and - on your keyboard to zoom out in your browser.
