Delete a Self Service document for all employees
To delete a document that has been added to all employees:
Go to Setup and click Content.
Click Documents, then Self Service.
Click the folder and then the document you wish to delete.
Click Edit in the top right corner.
Click Delete.
Delete a document from an individual employee
To delete a document from an employee's profile, without affecting other employees:
Search for the employee and go to their profile.
Click Documents, then Docs.
Expand the Person or Employment sections, depending on how the document was added.
Click the document, then click Delete.
Delete a document folder
To delete a document folder:
Go to Setup and click Content.
Click Documents, then Employment or Person, depending on where the document folder was created.
Click the document group, then the document you wish to delete.
Click Edit.
Click Delete.
Unable to delete a document folder
You will not be able to delete a document folder that's already in use as you will receive the message 'Unable to delete, record in use'.
In this case, you can instead remove permissions to this document folder:
Go to Setup and click Content.
Click Documents, then Employment or Person, depending on where the document folder was created.
Click the document group, then the document.
Click Edit.
Click the Can View tab.
Deselect all roles so they are no longer highlighted in blue.
Click Save.
Click the Can Edit tab and deselect the roles here as well.
Click Save.
